Although there may not be as much love for .40 S&W as there was a few years ago from some shooters, it still stands as a favorite of many shooters and law enforcement agencies alike. With an 8” barrel, there’s not an ounce of power this MkGs BANSHEE™ in .40 S&W leaves behind. The MkGs platform lower receivers are designed to accept small frame 9mm/.40 S&W Glock-pattern magazines. Magazines for either caliber must match the caliber the upper group being used is chambered in.

Available in a variety of cerakote finish options, the BANSHEE series represents the most innovative AR pistols and SBRs available today. From the quick deploying RIPBRACE®, to the stylized receivers and EML™ handguards, every BANSHEE is tailor-made to be the personal defense weapon you can always depend on. With full length M-LOK® slots on both sides and the bottom of the handguard as well as M-LOK between the top picatinny rail sections, you’ll always have enough space for those must have accessories.

Radial Delayed Blowback™ Operating System
Originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has adapted our Radial Delayed Blowback system across our pistol caliber lineup to create pistols and rifles with a softer recoil impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight blowback systems. Very nice pistol

Received my 40 caliber Banshee. Mounted a green dot Eotech and headed to the range. Ran 50 rounds through the Banshee. Had a couple failures to feed around the 3rd and 5th rounds. After that the pistol ran pretty much flawlessly. The gun seems to prefer hollow points and Hydra Shock rounds. I need to run more rounds through it.
Very enjoyable gun to shoot, and very accurate. Very pleased with my CMMG Banshee.
